Yeah, I asked him if he's got any old footage of him in concert. He says he has tons of video footage and is going to put it up online one day. Let's hope! At first he said that it was going to be on his myspace, but now that I see he has opend up a youtube account, I see that he's getting close?! Hopefully!
oh yeah, the footage is probably in vhs format, which means he has to convert it. He might find that annoying. (I got some nice Gories footage, but I'm putting no effort into learning how to convert it) I'm not sure how computer savvy he is. I'm not, but I did show him how to give "second chance offers" to his customers on ebay. Hey I was wondering how do you rip tapes onto your computer? I bought TW3's Memphis Massacre Mixtape and I wanna listen to it in cd format so I don't mess up my tape version.
How I rip tapes: plug a rca->eighth inch cable from my cassette player into my macbook's stereo imput, press record.
Alright, what Memphis located T&G reader is willing to roll over to Tommy's house and offer a little pro bono AV assistance.

I really hope that Ebay is Tommy's fulltime job. More than that I wish he was artistically active. More than that I wish my latest order would arrive.
I think his ebay is just a side thing. He probably has a regular job like you and me now. After he got out of jail, he probably just got a regular job and out the rap thang on hold. I'm not sure. I never really asked him about his personal life or what he does now for a living. I don't think it's neccessary. As long as he's back in the music scene, I'm happy! Yeah, he told me he gets tons of ebay orders in, but the thing is that he processes and ships them all out himself! But the thing is, they always get to ya eventually. He got a negative feedback on his profile, but the person got the tape, it just took a while. We're getting it directly from the artist. SO COOL! Hey Slizzard, have you ever been to Memphis?
Never been to Memphis, never been to New Orleans. Frankly, if I can even get vacation time from my shitty job to see my parents at Xmas and go to atlanta in the spring its a good year. Honestly, if it were anyone else I'd have given Tommy negative feedback myself. Its been months since I ordered Womack Da Omen tape.

I know right! I wanted to give him bad feedback too before. BUT IT'S FUCKIN TOMMY WRIGHT!! i hear ya man. i'm still waiting on an outlaw and lil jyule tapes. he just put up some new tapes now. and he's selling the house tour on dvd now! i did commit to buy his DJ FELA tape, but i didn't send the money yet.
